Hello, Everyone! Today's featured inventor is Vince Cowdry, Inventor of Gunshot Detector. Vince Cowdry's contribution to a solution for firearm violence, which has gripped North America, is his invention, Gunshot Detector. Cowdry states, "The problem has been a great time lapse between a shooting, to when it is reported to police (and sometimes they go un-reported until a body is found). This is technology already proven to work." This sounds like an exceptional invention that is greatly needed in North America, right now!
Additionally, Vince Cowdry states, "With my invention concept, a Gunshot Detector can be encapsulated into a Smartphone, along with a specially designed phone app. Through the commonality of wearing these phones in areas of concern, the spotlight is put on shooters
immediately. The second a firearm is fired, the process of notification and the GPS location begins. With this technology, we would take away the time and distance advantage shooters often have to evade capture. In essence, the hunters become the hunted, immediately, when they fire the first shot." I agree with Cowdry's quote, "All lives should matter!"
