Myra's $2-Million Heart's Desire Came True!

HGTV Home Design & Remodeling SuiteMyra Lewis' Heart's Desires Are Coming True!

Hello, Everyone! Here's another wonderful, inspirational story of what happens when you have a heart's desire that you affirm! In the video playlist featured below, a 60-something years-of-age lady, named Myra Lewis, experienced a heart's desire come true this year that manifested as a $2-million-plus grand-prize from the HGTV Dream Give-away!

As I watched Myra Lewis' cry tears of elation for this manifested blessing, I cried joy-tears, too; I felt gratitude for this manifestation/actualization of a blessing that she needed and desired, too!

As you will see I've added a playlist of Myra's HGTV Dream Home Give-away experience, and of the actual HGTV Dream Home that she's won!  I'm grateful that HGTV made these videos embeddable and therefore, shareable with you all. I've arranged the videos in this playlist in an order I appreciate and think you might appreciate, too.

Specifically, in this playlist you can see Myra Lewis receive the news (on camera) from host Jamie Durie, of her winning the 2010 HGTV Dream Home, along with a new, 2010 GMC Terrain automobile and $500,000! You'll hear her inspiring story about how Hurricane-Katrina affected her home and retirement. You'll hear about her only child's victories over autism, including his educational and artistic achievements. Then, you'll see the gorgeous dream house Myra Lewis deeply desired to win (in her heart  and affirmed, well before she won it)! In the tours you'll see the:
  • Location
  • Exterior
  • Interior
    • Entry Hallway
    • Kitchen
    • Dining Room
    • Master Bedroom
    • Master Bathroom
    • Kid's Bedroom
    • Guest Bedroom
    • Great Room
    • Casita
    • Home Office
    • Home Theater
I am confident that you'll find Myra Lewis' heart's-desire-come-true story, inspirational! Right now, I'm reminding you that Our Creator has stated in His Word (Bible) that He wants us to have the desire's of our heart! There's divine power in a heart's desire from Him! Are you affirming your heart's desires, yet? 2010 isn't over, yet! You may be in line for a quantum leap of faith (see, 'Perry's Heart's Desires Are Coming True! Hear How!') orchestrated by our Creator, this year!

Oh yes, I almost forgot to tell you that the last video features the location for HGTV's 2011 Dream Home! Is it your heart's desire to live there? Someone's going to win it, could be you!

Perry's Heart's Desires Are Coming True! Hear How!

Shane Perry's Heart's Desires Are Coming True!

Hello, Everyone! In the following videos Speaker, Shane Perry shares how he began to experience his heart's desires for his life after he and his wife experienced the following trials (which many people are experiencing right now, or will experience at some time):

  • He and his wife lost everything they owned
  • His service came to a halt
  • He was financially 'broke'
  • His wife was pregnant with their first child
  • They were virtually home-less and
  • They had to share the house of a parent/in-law, for awhile

Additionally, in the videos Perry dynamically shares:
  • the principles of vision (dreams/goals/heart's desires)
  • the purpose of vision
  • the power of vision (what happens when a person can see something greater than where they are)
  • that life has a way of beating your dreams out of you
  • what he describes as a quantum leap of faith (rapid forward movement/a leap forward when God does your vision ahead of a time-frame that you've chosen)
  • the significance of praise for where you're going (praise for manifestation/actualization/achievement of the vison/dream/goal/heart's desire before it materializes); doing dancing/celebratory movements of gratitude for where you're going
  • the kind of quantum leap he's experienced, recently
  • Albert Einstein's statement about what thoughts do
  • that our problems are not greater than our Creator's vision/dream for our lives
Perry details that a person can envision/dream the highest dream of goals/heart's desires that they would like to achieve, if there were no limitations. As he likes to say, "The sky is NOT the limit!" Also, he details:
  • Write your 'no-limitations' visions/dreams/goals/heart's desires down (make them bigger than merely self-serving ones; 'win-win-win' ones)
  • Create and speak a positive, daily affirmation about each of your major visions/dreams/goals/heart's desires
the term 'affirmation' is from the Latin 'affirmāre' [ which is the present active infinitive of 'affirmō' ] : ad + firmāre, to strengthen (from firmus, strong)
I present (something) as fixed, firm, or true; affirm, assert, maintain.
  • With each affirmation for each major goal, write a one-page business plan; make a plan-of-action for you to do to achieve them.
  • Make a mission statement for each major goal
  • Praise now /present-tense for the manifestation of your visions/dreams/goals/heart's desires, while you are waiting in expectation  and working your plan-of-action for them to manifest.
I find Perry's story very helfpful, because several year's ago I began thinking that quantum leaps (as I defined them: receiveng several goal manifestations simultaneously, that advanced me (and consequently others)  forward in one day, one week or one month) were possible for me, and his story outlines a way, with steps to take, to experience quantum leaps of faith. I imagine that his story and details will be quite helpful to many of you, too, that would benefit from one or more of our Creator's (God's) divine quantum leaps of faith. Watch, listen and learn. Then, start doing!

Video - Millionaire Mind

Hello, Everyone! I watched this video earlier this week and the accompanying tune is positively infectious. The tune is so infectious that it changed my 'vibration' like we've read about in the articles by Jack Canfield. I found myself rocking to this tune as I worked on the computer. I listened to it again and again so that this tune gets 'stuck' in my head causing me to sing it in my mind, hum it and sing it aloud when I'm not actually listening to it. It's one more thing I can do to help myself cancel negative 'vibrations' and create positive 'vibrations' that attract my heart's desires instead of repelling them. By the way, I changed the 'm' in millionaire to a 'b' as I sang along because I've got a lot to do for myself and others! I think you'll enjoy the video and tune to the point it increases your positive 'vibrations' too!

Visualize and Affirm Your Desired Outcomes: A Step-by-Step Guide

Visualize and Affirm Your Desired Outcomes: A Step-by-Step Guide
by Jack Canfield

You have an awesome power that most of us have never been taught to use effectively.

Elite athletes use it. The super rich use it. And peak performers in all fields now use it. That power is called visualization.

The daily practice of visualizing your dreams as already complete can rapidly accelerate your achievement of those dreams, goals and ambitions.

Visualization of your goals and desires accomplishes four very important things.

1.) It activates your creative subconscious which will start generating creative ideas to achieve your goal.

2.) It programs your brain to more readily perceive and recognize the resources you will need to achieve your dreams.

3.) It activates the law of attraction, thereby drawing into your life the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to achieve your goals.

4.) It builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams.

Visualization is really quite simple. You sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and imagine — in as vivid detail as you can — what you would be looking at if the dream you have were already realized. Imagine being inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes at the ideal result.

Mental Rehearsal

Athletes call this visualization process “mental rehearsal,” and they have been using it since the 1960s when we learned about it from the Russians.

All you have to do is set aside a few minutes a day. The best times are when you first wake up, after meditation or prayer, and right before you go to bed. These are the times you are most relaxed.

Go through the following three steps:

STEP 1. Imagine sitting in a movie theater, the lights dim, and then the movie starts. It is a movie of you doing perfectly whatever it is that you want to do better. See as much detail as you can create, including your clothing, the expression on your face, small body movements, the environment and any other people that might be around. Add in any sounds you would be hearing — traffic, music, other people talking, cheering. And finally, recreate in your body any feelings you think you would be experiencing as you engage in this activity.

STEP 2. Get out of your chair, walk up to the screen, open a door in the screen and enter into the movie. Now experience the whole thing again from inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes. This is called an “embodied image” rather than a “distant image.” It will deepen the impact of the experience. Again, see everything in vivid detail, hear the sounds you would hear, and feel the feelings you would feel.

STEP 3. Finally, walk back out of the screen that is still showing the picture of you performing perfectly, return to your seat in the theater, reach out and grab the screen and shrink it down to the size of a cracker. Then, bring this miniature screen up to your mouth, chew it up and swallow it. Imagine that each tiny piece — just like a hologram — contains the full picture of you performing well. Imagine all these little screens traveling down into your stomach and out through the bloodstream into every cell of your body. Then imagine that every cell of your body is lit up with a movie of you performing perfectly. It’s like one of those appliance store windows where 50 televisions are all tuned to the same channel.

When you have finished this process — it should take less than five minutes — you can open your eyes and go about your business. If you make this part of your daily routine, you will be amazed at how much improvement you will see in your life.

Create Goal Pictures

Another powerful technique is to create a photograph or picture of yourself with your goal, as if it were already completed. If one of your goals is to own a new car, take your camera down to your local auto dealer and have a picture taken of yourself sitting behind the wheel of your dream car. If your goal is to visit Paris, find a picture or poster of the Eiffel Tower and cut out a picture of yourself and place it into the picture.

With today’s technology, you can make even more convincing images using your computer. I personally use our Dream Big Vision Board Screen Saver Software, click through to see my own personal vision board in action.

Create a Visual Picture and an Affirmation for Each Goal

We recommend that you find or create a picture of every aspect of your dream life. Create a picture or a visual representation for every goal you have — financial, career, recreation, new skills and abilities, things you want to purchase, and so on.

When we were writing the very first Chicken Soup for the Soul® book, we took a copy of the New York Times best seller list, scanned it into our computer, and using the same font as the newspaper, typed Chicken Soup for the Soul into the number one position in the “Paperback Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous” category. We printed several copies and hung them up around the office. Less than two years later, our book was the number one book in that category and stayed there for over a year!

Index Cards

We practice a similar discipline every day. We each have a list of about 30-40 goals we are currently working on. We write each goal on a 3x5 index card and keep those cards near our bed and take them with us when we travel. Each morning and each night we go through the stack of cards, one at a time, read the card, close our eyes, see the completion of that goal in its perfect desired state for about 15 seconds, open our eyes and repeat the process with the next card.

Use Affirmations to Support Your Visualization

An affirmation is a statement that evokes not only a picture, but the experience of already having what you want. Here’s an example of an affirmation:

I am happily vacationing 2 months out of the year in a tropical paradise, and working just four days a week owning my own business.

Repeating an affirmation several times a day keeps you focused on your goal, strengthens your motivation, and programs your subconscious by sending an order to your crew to do whatever it takes to make that goal happen.

Expect Results

Through writing down your goals, using the power of visualization and repeating your affirmations, you can achieve amazing results.

Visualization and affirmations allow you to change your beliefs, assumptions, and opinions about the most important person in your life — YOU! They allow you to harness the 18 billion brain cells in your brain and get them all working in a singular and purposeful direction.

Your subconscious will become engaged in a process that transforms you forever. The process is invisible and doesn’t take a long time. It just happens over time, as long as you put in the time to visualize and affirm, surround yourself with positive people, read uplifting books and listen to audio programs that flood your mind with positive, life-affirming messages.

If you would like a step-by-step, comprehensive approach for defining your goals, creating affirmations for them and how to create a powerful visual support system, take a look at our Dream Big Collection... it contains a everything you need--just add your dreams!

Repeat your affirmations every morning and night for a month and they will become an automatic part of your thinking... woven into the very fabric of your being.

How to Create an Empowering Vision Book

How to Create an Empowering Vision Book
You are the author... just add dreams!

In the last edition of Success Strategies we discussed how tapping into the powers of the brain with visualization so it will begin to function as if your goals are already attained.

Your brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. And when those statements are the affirmation of your goals, you are certain to achieve them!

Creating a vision book is probably your most valuable visualization tool!

This powerful visualization tool serves as your image of the future - a tangible representation of where you are going. It represents your dreams, your goals, and your ideal life.

Because your mind responds strongly to visual stimulation--by representing your goals with pictures and images you will stimulate your emotions... and your emotions are the vibrational energy that activates the Law of Attraction.

Create a personal vision book that clearly depicts the future you wish to create.

Find pictures that represent or symbolize the experiences, feelings, and possessions you want to attract into your life, and place them in your book. Have fun with the process! Use photographs, magazine cutouts, pictures from the Internet--whatever inspires you. Be creative. Include not only pictures, but anything that speaks to you.

Consider including a picture of yourself in your book. If you do, choose one that was taken in a happy moment. You will also want to post your affirmations, inspirational words, quotations, and thoughts here. Choose words and images that inspire you and make you feel good.

You can use your vision book to depict goals and dreams in all areas of your life, or in just one specific area that you are focusing on.

Keep it neat, and be selective about what you place in your vision book. It's a good idea to avoid creating a cluttered or chaotic book--you don't want to attract chaos into your life.

Use only the words and images that best represent your purpose, your ideal future, and words that inspire positive emotions in you. There is beauty in simplicity and clarity.

If you are working on visualizing and creating changes in many areas of your life, then you may want to use more than one vision book. You might use one vision book for your personal goals and another for career and financial goals. You might even want to keep your career vision book at the office or on your desk as a means of inspiration and affirmation.

How to use your vision book.

Try keeping your vision book on the nightstand next to your bed. Leave it standing in an open position as often as you are comfortable with, and spend time each morning and evening visualizing, affirming, believing, and internalizing your goals.

The time you spend visualizing in the evening just before bed is especially powerful. The thoughts and images that are present in your mind during the last forty-five minutes before going to sleep are the ones that will replay themselves repeatedly in your subconscious mind throughout the night, and the thoughts and images that you begin each day with will help you to create a vibrational match for the future you desire.

As some time goes by, and your dreams begin to manifest, look at those images that represent your achievements, and feel gratitude for how well the Law of Attraction is working in your life. Acknowledge that it is working.

Don't remove the pictures or images that represent the goals you've already achieved.

Achievement of the goals in your vision book are powerful visual reminders of what you have already consciously and deliberately attracted into your life.

I recommend you write down the date you created your vision book. The universe loves speed, and you will be amazed at just how quickly the Law of Attraction responds to your energy, commitment, and desires.

Much like a time capsule, this book will document your personal journey, your dreams, and your achievements for that particular year. It will become a record of your growth, awareness, and expansion that you will want to keep and reflect back upon in years to come.

Final thoughts on using your completed vision book:

  • Look at your vision book often and feel the inspiration it provides.
  • Hold it in your hands and really internalize the future it represents.
  • Read your affirmations and inspirational words aloud.
  • See yourself living in that manner.
  • Feel yourself in the future you have designed.
  • Believe it is already yours.
  • Be grateful for the good that is already present in your life.
  • Acknowledge any goals you have already achieved.
  • Acknowledge the changes you have seen and felt.
  • Acknowledge the presence of God in your life.
  • Acknowledge the Law of Attraction at work in your life.
  • Look at it just before going to bed and first thing upon rising.
  • I hope I've inspired you to create your own vision book and start implementing what you
  • learned from today's message.

See it. Feel it. Believe it!

Attracting What You Desire - Quotes

Hello, Everyone! I hope you're having a very pleasant week, so far. This evening I'm sharing quotes about attracting what you desire into your life. Take care.

"The Law of Attraction says that like attracts like, and when you think and feel what you want to attract on the inside, the law will use people, circumstances and events to magnetize what you want."
~ Rhonda Byrne

"By repeating an affirmation over and over again, it becomes embedded in the subconscious mind, and eventually becomes your reality. That is why you need to be careful what you think and believe, because that is exactly what you will get".
~ Anthony Robbins

"... Visualize and feel the reality that you are a Magnet For Money and you will magnetically attract the things, people and ideas you need!"
~ John Scevola

Everything Aligns with Our CREATOR'S Best!

I appreciate this image and the affirmation on it! I like the bright rays of the sun at the top of the image because they make me think of our Creator. I like the clouds in the image because they appear to form the shape of an angel with wings, which makes me think of our Creator's angels! Combined together, the image and the affirmation are powerfully effective.

This affirmation came to my mind one day, several weeks ago, and it's working for me. I'm sharing it with you, here, as a post. I hope it will work for each of you, as well! Take care!

The affirmation states:

Everything that is not aligned
with the CREATOR'S best,
for me and all others
will now align, blissfully,
in the most harmonious
timeframe & harmonious way.

Dream House - Affirmation

Hello, Everyone! I hope you've had a "blissed-out" day, so far. Here's another affirmation I created while thinking about my own dream houses and all the people that can use one, now, in 2009. It's a slight variation of the first affirmation I mentioned below, on March 27, 2009. Share it, speak it for yourself, & pray it for those that need a wonderful, comfortable & safe home of their own (those known by you & those unknown). Enjoy!

Dream House Affirmation

"Every day & every night the CREATOR and His whole UNIVERSE
work efficiently, for us and with us,
to favorably & affluently house us within our dream houses!"

Manifesting Heart’s Desires with Visualizations and Affirmations

Hello, Everyone! I hope your day has been blissful, so far.

As you endeavor to achieve your heart's desires by directing your focus to the positives (such as that which is beautiful, peaceful, healthy, good, joyful, beneficial, and win-win”*), ideas and thoughts will come to mind of what it is that you are talented at, really like to do and would love to do. As these ideas and thoughts come to your mind, write them down in a list. That list is your list of the heart’s desires, & goals you‘d like to achieve in your life. Now, as you look at that list you should tell yourself, “I can achieve these heart’s desires and goals in my lifetime, and I can achieve some of them (if not all of them) in 2009!” You’ve just stated a positive statement about yourself. You’ve affirmed a positive.

Recall that in my March 8, 2009 blog entitled, “A Positive Mindset Facilitates Achievement of Goals, Dreams & Hearts Desires", I mentioned that your self-esteem and self-confidence are crucial to achieving your goals and heart’s desires. Similarly, positive statements about yourself, your goals, and your heart’s desires, like the one you stated above, impact your self-esteem and self-confidence, as well. This type of positive statement is called an affirmation and they are equally crucial. Additionally, affirmations should be statements that will uplift you and make you smile in delight about achieving the goal, the heart’s desire and/or dream.

Your affirmations can help you manifest a better mental state/mindset of self-esteem and self-confidence. Your affirmations can help you manifest a better home environment. Your affirmations can help you manifest better health. Your affirmations can help you manifest financial income. The point is, your affirmations can help you manifest (achieve) your goals and heart’s desires.

In addition to affirmations, you should use your positive mindset to imagine positive scenarios of yourself achieving your goals, and heart’s desires. In other words, in addition to speaking your positive affirmations (privately) you should imagine yourself manifesting (achieving) your heart’s desires in a “win-win” way. Furthermore, practice visualizing your heart's desires as if you have already accomplished them, on a regular basis. Soon, with your affirmations and visualizations you could see positive results, in spite of the economy, that delightfully surprise you.

Affirm that you can manifest your goals and heart’s desires, even in the current economy of 2009. Visualize yourself achieving what you’ve affirmed. Yes, you can do it!

Now, if you’d like to utilize a tool to help yourself through visualization, visit here! I wish you a 2009 of wonderful goals, heart's desire and/or dreams fulfilled!

* "win-win" = achieving something good, and beneficial to you and others in a way that does not hurt you, another human, an animal or property
