Hello, Everyone! In today's video the David Smith, Founder of Tekscape, shares some of the details of Tekscape's beginning. Tekscape is an internet technology (IT) business that can incorporate a full comprehensive approach to all of one's technology solutions and management. The categories of solutions they provide are Unified Collaboration, Network Infrastructure, Virtualization and Cloud Services. Their categories for services they provide are Managed Support, Monitoring & Alerting, Desktop/Server Support and Equipment Procurement. Since 2011, the year-date of this video, they have experience a minimum of 100% growth in annual sales, and new-client acquisition since their inception.
Three of my favorite 'shares' from this video are about:
- when and where his business idea came to him/to his mind
- what factors enabled his business' growth, and
- how he and his team of two more people worked around a table in his studio apartment and moved forward from there
The details of his story are inspiration for newbie entrepreneurs and people contemplating starting their own home-based, or otherwise small, business(es). His story, like others' similar beginnings, reminds me of the advice in Zechariah 4:10 regarding the days of small beginnings.
