Gratitude Quotes

Good day, Everyone! Today, I'm sharing some delightful "gratitude" quotes with you. By the way, I'm grateful for you! Enjoy the quotes.

"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."

"The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings! "
~ Henry Ward Beecher

"Hem your blessings with thankfulness so they don't unravel."
~ Author Unknown

"We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude."
~ Cynthia Ozick

"You say grace before meals. All right. But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing and grace before I dip the pen in the ink."
~ G.K. Chesterton

"There is not a more pleasing exercise of the mind than gratitude. It is accompanied with such an inward satisfaction that the duty is sufficiently rewarded by the performance."
~ Joseph Addison

"Who does not thank for little will not thank for much."
~ Estonian Proverb

"Saying thank you is more than good manners. It is good spirituality."

Gratitude and The Gratitude Dance

Good Day, Everyone! Today's tool-topic is GRATITUDE. Wikipedia states, "Gratitude, thankfulness, or appreciation is a positive emotion or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive."

Gratitude is a tool because it makes us focus on that which is the best of our life, rather than the worst, and in doing so works like visualizations and affirmations. Why? Well, as we express gratitude for something, whether verbally, written down or in our thoughts, we "affirm" it and we "visualize" it, simultaneously. We attract more of what we focus on, and we attract it more efficiently when we affirm and visualize it. So, expressing gratitude is a powerful tool for attracting what we desire; gratitude works like a powerful magnet!

Below, is a delightful video that's been out since September 19, 2007. Even now, it's still beneficial to serve as a light-hearted, joyful reminder to express gratitude often. This video made me smile and I believe it will have the same impact on you! I'm going to do this dance and have a good time laughing at myself as I do!
